Overview

The Apps tab in the tenant Admin panel shows all applications registered in the tenant. This helps you identify third-party apps, verify publisher information, and understand what applications have access to tenant resources.

Viewing Applications

  1. From the Homepage, click on a tenant to open the tenant page.
  2. Scroll down to the Admin panel.
  3. Select the Apps tab.
The table shows all applications registered in the tenant with the following information:

Display NameThe application’s display name
App IDThe application’s unique identifier
PublisherVerified publisher display name (if available)
First PartyWhether this is a Microsoft first-party application
Sign-In AudienceWho can sign in to the application (e.g., AzureADMyOrg, AzureADMultipleOrgs)
HomepageThe application’s homepage URL
EnabledWhether the application is currently enabled
CreatedWhen the application was created

Use Cases

  • Security audits: Identify third-party applications that have been granted access to tenant resources
  • Publisher verification: Check which applications have verified publishers
  • First-party identification: Quickly identify Microsoft first-party applications vs. third-party apps
  • Access review: Review what applications exist in the tenant as part of regular security assessments

Exporting Application Data

You can export the applications list by clicking the Export button in the top right of the Admin panel. This downloads a CSV file with all application data for further analysis.
